Volunteer at the World's Largest Robotics Competition! Beginning April 21st

We need passionate volunteers like you to power the VEX Robotics World Championship taking place April 21st - 30th at the America's Center Convention Complex! Whether you participate solo or with a group of friends, family, or coworkers, you’ll make a huge impact on students’ lives as they pursue their STEM dreams. Volunteering for the World Championship is a fun and exciting opportunity to get to know the robotics community!

The Robotics Education and Competition Foundation (The RECF) provides training to prepare volunteers for most positions, and every volunteer will be briefed about their role at the beginning of their first shift. Volunteers have the flexibility to choose their role(s) and shift(s), and many of these roles do not require previous experience. In addition, there are a variety of options available to fit your schedule. Volunteer roles range from Check-In to Pit Admin to Field Resetter (7+ with adult).

  • An average shift is 3-5 hours.

  • You may sign up for one shift, multiple shifts, or even multiple days.

  • All Volunteers will receive an official 2026 VEX Robotics World Championship t-shirt.

  • Lunch vouchers will be provided for volunteers who serve a full day (morning and afternoon shift, within the same day).

After you express interest, you will be directed to complete your registration, which will include selecting your assignment and shifts on the RobotEvents Volunteer Management System.
