Zion Travelers Community Involvement Association's Food Pantry Stocker
Zion Travelers Community Involvement Association is a USDA community based food pantry serving all of St.Louis's North County. In our 21 year history we distributed over 5million pounds of food! We are a long term agency of the St. Louis Area Foodbank and Operation Food Search. For twenty years we've participated in the Commodity Supplimental Food Program. Providing eligable seniors with nutritional, non parishable, pre-boxed products. Through Feeding America, we are currently partakers in the Grocery Rescue progam sponsored by Walmart. Providing an opportunity for fresh produce, fruit, and other essential products to reach areas often considered food deserts. We need volunteers to help in the preparation of our distribution dates, which involves pre-bagging items for next day distribution as well as restocking the shevles to make ready for the actual allocation of food. We look forward to all volunteers willing to help in the fight to stamp out hunger.
